Polytechnic West is now using the Unique Student Identifier (USI) . This is a number unique to each student and can be used at any training organisation. Students will use it to collect and access all their training records in the one place, making it easier to keep track of the qualifications you possess. You should obtain your USI before enrolling.
It’s really easy to sign up for and it only takes 5 minutes.
Have one of the following ready:
Have your personal details handy. This includes your address, email and phone number.
Visit http://usi.gov.au and click on Create a USI:

Read and agree to the terms and conditions and complete the process. Make sure you record your USI for safe keeping!
Record your USI in an email, along with your full name and date of birth and email it.

Once you’ve signed up, remember to bring your USI along when you enrol so we can record it. Once you have completed your course it will appear in your USI account, which you can access on the USI website
